2 Built in 1488 during the Ming Dynasty, the "A-Ma Temple" is one of the oldest religious temples in Macau and was built to commemorate the Chinese sea-goddess "Mazu".
3 The site consists of 4 main parts: the Gate Pavilion, the Memorial Arch, the Prayer Hall, the Hall of Benevolence, the Hall of Guanyin, and Zhengjiao Chanlin, a Buddhist pavilion.
4 As much as the site gets talked up - I wouldn't plan a special trip to go visit as there not a lot to actually see or do here.
